Researchers have found out recently that there is a huge ocean beneath the surface of our planet. Now, Italian researchers state that over 70% of the Earth’s heat comes from its center.

Scientific findings have been made possible thanks to data obtained by the Borexino neutrino detector designed to study the flow of low energy solar neutrinos produced by radioactive decay in the sun.
Scientists have demonstrated that the Earth produces a heat flow but its origin is unknown. According to experts from the “Gran Sasso National Laboratory” in Italy, the most likely hypothesis is that the source is radioactive in nature.
Approximately half of the neutrinos produced by natural underground sources come from the Earth’s mantle, and not the earth’s crust, according to the analysis.
Researchers announced the detection of 24 neutrinos produced by the radioactive decay within the Earth within 2,056 days of data from the detector to find that 11 came from the Earth’s mantle and 13 from its crust.

Îmi pare rău, dar chestia asta o ştiu cam de multişor! Iar ceea ce eventual s-a reuşit în vremurile prezente este ca să se fi demonstrat ceva mai mult din veridicitatea acestei teorii.
Un individ cu ceva cunoţtinţe de fizică şi chimie, dar şi mai atent la orele de geografie fizică îşi poate da seama că, Soarele ar trebui să arunce în spaţiu o mult mai mare cantitate de energie pentru ca Terra să aibă temperatura ambientală cunoscută, iar evoluţia erupţiiloe solare ar trebui să aibă împact mult mai mare asupra climatologiei, decât cel cunoscut, şi mai apoi este iarăşi binecunoscut că Terra are un miez lichid de fier şi în interiorul planatei au loc femomene generatoare de energie termică şi nu numai şi care au la bază reacţii nucleare în parte cunoscute. Aşa că….. ce e nou? Poate urechi şi ochi mai tineri cu caş la gură.
